The Yumbi platform is hosted in the cloud, so orders can be placed from anywhere – either by the customer directly (online) or via a call center agent. The system needs to facilitate tens of thousands of orders per week. Codeo partnered with Yumbi to develop the solution.
Deliverables / Responsibilities
System architecture design and development. The system is large and complex and required careful planning.
User experience design and development. A “mobile first” approach was adopted to facilitate a UI which would work on smart phones, tablets and desktop computers.
Implementation of the customer facing portal, white label instances and the management portal.
Quality assurance and testing.
Cloud configuration and hosting. Yumbi is hosted in Amazon’s Web Service (AWS). Codeo is responsible for the ongoing management of this infrastructure.
Ongoing maintenance and support.
